40k Cadian Battleforce

And so it starts all over again!! BUT this time i have an airbrush! so today i base coated and highlighted 11 of my Cadians in under an hour. I did the green and brown with the airbrush, then put a wash on the brown and a highlight, did the faces, hands and guns. the 2 took me another 20 mins so that comes out to about 20 min a mini not to shabby!

New Airbrush!

So i broke down and got me an airbrush, since i HATE painting vehicles and such. And... i SO should have gotten one a long time ago. This is a plain i picked up for $4 at hobby lobby when they had a sale. Ethan picked it out and he also picked the colors to paint it. He even did the brush work on the nose cone and prop and helped with the decals, he is very proud. The whole thing took under an hour and well...for my first time ever using an airbrush i loved it :D

Fairies for Christmas

Well i got the fairies done and painted, would have taken a pick but i don't have any matt varnish so they are a bit shinny after the gloss coat. but i did get started on the bases now i just have to wait for the water to cure, hit it with a few washes, and then i'll be done. Well that and i got to make a run to hobby lobby today to get more matt... but hey.

Fairies for Christmas

Right so it has been FOREVER since I have painted anything! But I am getting into 40k now as well so more stuff will start showing up again... and probably at my normal mad pace. But first i have 2 fairies to paint for one of my best friends for his girlfriend for Christmas. So today i got cracking and here is what I came up with so far, still need a base for each and some touch up and such but will not be long before they are done.
